Each of these pages includes an image to color with a mom and her child. Some of the duos are human, others are animals, and there is also a fairy mom and a mermaid mom. Quotations include selections from people like Emily Dickinson, Princess Diana, and Dorothy from The Golden Girls. There is also a page with the well-known Oprah quotation “Biology is the least of what makes someone a mother” and a child celebrating their adoption day. I hope you enjoy! How to print your own Mother’s Day cards
Making your own Mother’s Day cards is super easy with these coloring pages. You (or your child) can color the card for a sweet handmade gift, or you can give the card with a pack of pencils. For postcard style cards, print multiple pages on one page (this is called “multi up”). This is easy to do in most programs. The screenshot below is from Acrobat Reader, which is free to download. You can print 2 or 4 pages to a page, depending on how big you want the card to be.
Printer paper for coloring pages
I recommend using 32 lb bright white paper for coloring pages. It’s thicker than copy paper, which means it’s less likely to experience bleeding and feathering. It’s also smoother for a more enjoyable coloring experience. If it’s out of stock, the HP 24# paper is the second best choice.
Pencils & markers for adult coloring
I love Copic markers, but they are pricey and can be hard to find. My favorite markers for “everyday” coloring are inexpensive Crayola Supertips.
They’re affordable, easy to find, and fun for kids and adults. They have a fine tip for details, but can also be used on the nib’s side for broader areas of coloring. The caps on Supertips markers don’t always look exactly like the actual ink color, which is a common problem with markers, so you may want to do test swatches. Some of my Supertips markers are shown in the photo below. I’m pretty fond of the fairy moms and mer-mom coloring pages. Aren’t they cute? Even the “student” lines of Prismacolor colored pencils are softer and creamier than brands like Crayola. Prismacolors color easily and are great for blending.

The coloring sheets are shown in groups to help this page load more quickly, but each sheet has its own page in the printable PDF. Any blurriness is because of image compression. The PDF is high resolution. License and PDF download information are located below the previews. Look for the row of purple arrows pointing the way. I hope you enjoy these coloring pages for Mother’s Day!
