How to print your own Easter Cards
These printable Easter bunny coloring pages can be used as homemade Easter cards. It’s quick, easy, and very budget-friendly. To print your own postcard-sized Easter cards, select the “print 4 to a page” option in Acrobat Reader, as shown in the screenshot below. Select the “multiple” tab, then pick “4.” If you don’t have Adobe Acrobat installed yet, it’s a free download. The print dialogue box looks slightly different in Mac Preview, but you can print multiple copies to a page in this software, too. This application comes free on Mac computers and you can re-download it if you’ve deleted it in the past. Select “4” in the “copies per page” dropdown men near the bottom of the print dialogue box. I’ve circled it in the image below. The picture below is from this post with Easter chick coloring pages. You can also print fold-over cards by selecting “booklet” and “binding left,” as shown below.
Paper for coloring pages
I recommend using 32 lb bright white paper for printables. It’s thicker than copy paper, which means it’s less likely to experience bleeding and feathering. It’s also smoother for a more enjoyable coloring experience. For Easter cards, you might want to select a white, heavy duty cardstock, instead. It will be more durable and card-like.
Pencils & markers for coloring
Although Copic markers are amazing, my favorite markers for everyday coloring are inexpensive Crayola Supertips. They’re affordable, easy to find, and fun for kids and adults. These markers have a fine tip for details, but can also be used on the nib’s side for broader areas of coloring. The caps don’t always look exactly like the actual ink color (a common problem with markers), so you may want to do test swatches. Some of my Supertips markers are shown in the photo below. Prismacolors are, in my opinion, the best colored pencils for coloring. Even the “student” lines of Prismacolor colored pencils are softer and creamier than brands like Crayola. Prismacolors color easily and are great for blending. My husband can do really amazing things with blending our Prismacolor pencils.
