This set of Easter bunny paw print templates includes left and right back feet as well as cute front paws. There are four options: black and white for making a stencil, pink paw pads, blue paw pads, and light purple paw pads with a carrot. You do not need a cutting machine like a Cricut machine or Silhouette to use this Easter template. I have created a blackout png file to make using these footprints easy with a cutting machine, but you definitely don’t have to use one. How do you use Easter Bunny footprints?
There are so many ways to use your Easter bunny feet template! Leaving Easter bunny footprints is a fun tradition that will delight younger kids.
Some people like to leave them going from the front door to the Easter baskets. Other people use them as part of a scavenger hunt or Easter egg hunt. You can also use the footprints for Easter decorations on cards, baskets, or even wreaths. Your creative potential is your only limit!
Here’s a preview of all four pages I’ve created for you: How you prepare your free printable template will depend on your intended use. Here are some materials you may need:
Your free printable bunny footprint template (look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post) Sharp scissors and a hobby knife, if you’re making a stencil Card stock or paper. Card stock is better for stencils, this 32# bright white paper is better if you’re printing one of the colorful versions. Laminator, optional, if you want to make easy-to-clean stencils or make your bunny prints reusable for next year. A non-toxic white powder. Some people use flour. You could also use baby powder (or just buy cornstarch because it’s the same thing and cheaper).
Warning - be very careful and avoid water clean-up until after you’d swept or vacuumed if you’re using flour. Flour + water = glue!
How to make cute Easter bunny footprints

If you’re making stencils, you only need one set of paw prints If you’re using one of the colorful options for your DIY Easter Bunny tracks, you’ll need to print multiple pages. For smaller stencils or prints, print the page to scale or print multi-up (two to a page or four to a page). If you want to make your printable bunny footprint reusable, laminate the pages before cutting them out. Next, use sharp scissors and/or a craft knife to cut out the Easter Bunny foot print stencil of your choice. If you have a cutting machine, you can use the blackout png file to cut out your footprints. To use your Easter Bunny footprints stencil, position each stencil on the floor or ground. Sprinkle flour or cornstarch over the area, then carefully lift each stencil straight up. If you’re using printed footprints, place them around your home or yard wherever you want to have your Eastern Bunny pay a visit. A few steps leading from a door to an Easter basket or to a hidden stash of Easter eggs are fun choices!
