Materials needed to print your own adorable signs for back to school
You don’t have to use a local print shop to print your signs since the file is saved in US letter format. If you don’t have access to a color printer at home, you can take it to a copy shop, though.

For best results, use a bright white paper or white card stock. These options will make your sign more sturdy and look more professional, too. Using a picture frame can make it easier for your child to hold their cute sign in a photo. Because glare from glass can make the sign unreadable, look for a frame with a removable glass front. Alternatively, you can use rubber cement to glue the sign to a piece of foam core. Rubber cement is less likely than white glue to leave unsightly wrinkles that can ruin your photo. Of course, make sure that you have time to take a picture of your kids before they’re at risk for being late for the bus! If you don’t have time to take a picture on your kid’s first day, you can always stage a picture a few days earlier or later. I won’t tell. 😉
