A fun factoid for you: October means eighth month (think “octagon,” which is based on the same latin word) because it was was the eighth month in the ancient Roman calendar. Now October is the 10th month of the year. The Roman calendar used to be based on the lunar year and began in March. The calendar was changed to include 12 months more than 2000 years ago, but the month names “September” and “October” stuck! This monthly calendar template is in portrait orientation and has a spot for notes and to jot down a “top three” for the month. These could be top three gratitudes, top three to-dos, or something else. The choice is yours! The image below shows the 2023 version but clip art on the 2024 is the same. I’m posting this from my phone due to power and internet outage thanks to Hurricane Helene, so this is the best I can do. =)

How to print and use a calendar PDF
This free October calendar is sized for US letter size paper. Both pages are saved in PDF format in the same file. Just pick which page you want to use and make sure to select only that page (1 or 2) when you print. Also make sure to select print to “fit.” Here’s a screenshot of what this looks like in Adobe reader: I recommend printing your monthly planner on HP premium paper. It’s thicker and brighter than “regular” printer paper, which means your calendar will look more professional.
