Materials needed to make 3D Easter cards

These are not pop up cards. They are more like miniature dioramas that do best when they stay 3D instead of being re-folded.

Each 3D card only uses one sheet of paper and there are five different designs to pick from. No matter which version you pick, you will need:

Your free printable PDF file (look for the row of arrows pointing at the download link) Printer access and paper. I recommend this 32# HP bright white paper because it’s more durable than regular printer paper. Cardstock paper can also be used, but is more difficult for younger kids to cut and fold. How to make a 3D Easter card

First, grab your free printable templates  by using the download link lower in the post.  Print as many copies of the craft as you’d like. Each page is its own card. The first page in the PDF includes written instructions. This post also includes a video showing the card making process, step by step. Have your child or students use blunt-tipped scissors to cut out the disk portion and the two standing pieces for each card. Cut along the solid line on the disk marked with a scissor icon. Make sure to stop when the line turns dotted at the center of the disk. Fold the disk in half, then unfold. Fold the flap marked for gluing, apply glue, then glue in place to the back of the disk. Fold the tab on each standing piece to the back. Apply glue, then glue in the marked spots on the bottom of the card. (You will see a “1” and a “2” on each piece.) Allow the card to dry fully. That’s it! Your cards are ready to gift or to display as a diorama. You can see two cards being cut and assembled in the quick tutorial video below:
