Craft supplies needed to make a 3D paper snowman
You probably already have most of the materials needed to make your fun snowman craft. Here’s what you’ll need:
Snowman templates (blank) Snowman coloring pages Snowflake templates Roll & draw a snowman game Build a snowman craft (flat)
Your free templates (look for the download link lower down in the post) Printer access and paper or card stock Child-safe scissors Glue stick Crayons or colored pencils
For a sturdier snowman, use 32# paper instead of regular printer paper. That’s what’s shown in this post.
How to make a snowman cut and paste raft
Making your simple craft is easy. Here’s what to do: Grab your PDF file from lower down in the post, then print one copy of each activity page. Have your child color the snowman before cutting out the pieces. Cut out each of the template pieces on the second page. There are three rectangles to cut out. Fold the top and bottom of each piece to the back where it says “glue.” The only exception is the scarf - fold this one to the front. Gently arch each cut out rectangle sightly. Glue each “glue” rectangle in place on its corresponding rectangle on the background page. That’s it! It’s a little tricky to put the directions into words so I made a quick video for you:
