Materials needed for an easy acorn craft

To make this acorn craft, you will need:

Your free printable (look for the row of purple arrows pointing at the download button) Printer access and paper or card stock Blunt tipped scissors Glue stick Preschool pencil or something else to write and trace with Colored pencils or crayons, if you’re using the coloring page version

My daughter likes to trace and write the word on her cut and paste worksheets before coloring or cutting out the pieces. It’s easiest for little learners to write on the page while it’s still intact. Coloring the acorn is easiest before cutting out the pieces. Next, cut out the pieces. Glue the pieces together to make an acorn. The cap goes on top of the nut and the stem goes on top of the cap. Easy peasy! Your child can also decorate their acorn to make a face by drawing features or adding googly eyes. That’s it! This is a super easy, no-prep craft that your kids will be enjoying just minutes from now. Glue your completed acorn to a large craft stick to quickly and easily make a stick puppet.
