Paper and printer I recommend 32 lb bright white paper if you’re laminating the bookmarks Card stock is a better choice if you’re not laminating. Crayons, colored pencils, etc. Laminator and laminating sheets (Optional, but recommended. Laminating the bookmarks will help protect them from wet or sticky hands. It also makes them more durable, even for adult use. Paper trimmer or scissors
- Print as many copies of the page as you’d like. I printed two copies so my daughter and I could each have a set of Christmas bookmarks.
- Color before cutting out the bookmarks.
- Laminate before cutting out, if you’re laminating.
- Cut out your bookmarks. A guillotine-style paper trimmer is better for laminated pages, but I use this Fiskar’s paper trimmer when my daughter is around so she doesn’t lose any fingers. These safari animal bookmarks are shown in the photo below.
