These are not an open mouth/talking style of finger puppets. They are a simple slip on design that’s easier for children to make and use. These finger puppets are available in both color and black and white so you can pick whichever meets your needs! For a the best experience, print your printable templates on heavyweight paper like HP premium 32lb paper. This will help the finger puppets stand up correctly while they’re in use. Card stock can be used for the character portion of the puppet, but paper is usually better for the bands. How to make paper finger puppets
First, grab your supplies. You don’t need much to make this fun craft. You’ll need:
Scissors Paper Crayons or colored pencils, optional Glue and tape
I prefer to use tape on the band portion and glue to attach the puppet character. You can use one or the other, if that’s all you have on hand.

Cut out the puppet pieces and the band pieces. The bands are oversized to accommodate a large range of hand sizes. Make a ring of paper out of a strip. Tape in place and trim as needed. Make sure to size the ring to the hand and finger its indented for. Attach the back of your colored finger puppet to the ring using glue or tape. Press firmly to secure it in place. Allow glue to dry fully before playing. Use and enjoy!
