The best supplies for making your own coloring book
You can print these coloring pages on any cardstock or paper. However, the super thin, cheapest copy paper isn’t very durable and I don’t recommend it.
Your printable PDF (look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post) Printer and paper Gel pens, colored pencils, markers, etc. to color with. You could also embellish the pages with your favorite craft supplies to make mixed media art.
This paper will bring you vibrant colors and it’s smooth to color on. Sometimes I also use my current favorite inexpensive paper. It’s not quite as delightful, but it still brings bright colors when compared to regular copy paper. My favorite colored pencils are Prismacolor. Even the less expensive student line is more soft and creamy than most other colored pencils. They are a joy to color with and have rich colors for creating your fall scenes. I also recently found this set of colored pencils with so many different shades of autumn colors: My family loves our multicolor colored pencils. The pencil core isn’t as soft and creamy as my favorite Prismacolor pencils, but the multicolor effect is a fun way to add depth and interest to a coloring page, even if shading isn’t your strong point. We also like to add sparkle with our favorite gel pens. How about a bit of silver sparkle to mimic the frosty beauty of fall?
