Your free printable template (look for the row of purple arrows lower down in the post) Paper and printer access I recommend 32# bright white paper because it’s sturdier and makes a nicer looking basket Crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint, etc. Scissors Glue sticks or tape

Instead of coloring the basket and flowers, you could print the templates on colored paper or trace the cut outs onto card stock. You can also turn this printable flower basket into a handprint craft. Instead of cutting out the prodded tulip template, trace a hand print onto construction paper and glue it to the flower stem. How to make a printable flower basket

First, download your templates and print out both pages. You’ll need a copy of each page for each person who will make the craft. If you want more than four flowers per basket, print extra copies of the second page Next, color or decorate the basket and flowers. It’s easier to color before cutting the shapes out. Then, cut out the shapes from both pages. Fold both circles down the dotted center line. Place them so that folded edges are facing outwards and both circles open towards the center, forming a sort of heart shape. One circle will be inside the other. It’s hard to describe, so please see the photo below: I made a quick mark on the front and back of the inner circle so I knew where to place the glue. Carefully tape or glue the two circles together to form a basket. Tape or glue the handle in place. I glued mine on “sideways” so it would be flat for photos. This is also a great option for making a 3D card. If you’d like to hang the basket, you may want to glue the handle from “top” to “top,” at a right angle to how I glued mine. Glue or tape a set of leaves to each flower stem, then glue or tape a tulip on top of each stem. You could also use a cut out or painted hand print in place of the provided tulip template. Add the flowers to the basket. Now it’s ready for giving!
