How to print your own Valentine’s Day cards
Printing your own Valentines is easy with these free printables! I love using HP 32# paper for printables, but it is a little thin for cards. I recommend using a bright white cardstock for sturdier cards. See side by side comparisons in this post about the best paper for printables. There are two sets of smaller cards. Both options have an optional printable back page. There are two pages of postcard sized valentines with four cards each. There is also a page with six smaller, card exchange sized cards. For either card smaller card type, first print as many copies of the front page(s) as you want. Next, place the pages back into your printer, then print multiple copies of the correct is back page with “to” and “from” on it. This back page has dotted lines to help you cut the cards out with a paper trimmer. Pay careful attention to your printer to ensure you position the pages correctly in the paper tray. There should be a little symbol showing you how to place the sheets. I recommend doing a single test page if you’re not sure how to print double sided on your particular printer. Many, but not all, home printers print on the front-facing side of the sheet, which means you would place the already printed portion to the back. You also need to pay attention to whether your printer prints from the top down or bottom up. Finally, cut the cards apart with a paper cutter or trimmer. I’ve used my paper trimmer with a guide wire for years - I love how easy it is to make accurate cuts with. You can also use scissors, but it takes longer and is less accurate. The fold-over cards to not have separate backs to print. They are blank on the inside (when folded). Simply print and cut them apart.

As noted above your PDF includes the postcard style cards, smaller card exchange cards, back pages, and two sheets of fold-over cards. All pages are included in the same convenient PDF.
