The US does not celebrate International Labor Day on May 1 like many other countries in the world. Labor Day is celebrated on the first Monday of September in the United States. It’s a Federal Holiday, but historically has been less celebrated in the South than in the North because of the history of Labor Day being tied to the labor movement in the North. Labor Day weekend is commonly seen as the “unofficial” end of summer. (Summer officially ends with the Fall Equinox, which is usually on September 22). It’s a long weekend for many that is frequently celebrated with a cookout, beach trip, or other “final hurrah” for summer. The date of this national holiday varies from year to year, but it takes place somewhere between September 1 and September 7.
How to use printable sign templates
This is a small sign saved in US letter format. It’s not really intended for making a yard signs or for outdoor use. Laminating a printed sign can make it hold up for limited outdoor use, but doesn’t always work. Keeping this printable sign inside or under an overhang is your best option.
