March holidays in 2024
March is the third month of the year and home to several important dates. Some of these important events always fall in March, but others happen to be in March 2024. Here are some special events and important days for the month of March you may want to note on your free printables:
World Wildlife Day - March 3rd Daylight Saving’s Time begins - March 10th Start of Ramadan - March 10th Pi Day - march 14th St. Patrick’s Day - March 17th St. Pat’s is technically a religious holiday/cultural holiday and not a national holiday in the US, but is widely celebrated Spring Equinox - March 20th (Northern Hemisphere - it is the fall equinox in the Southern Hemisphere) Palm Sunday - March 24th Good Friday - Marh 29th Easter Sunday - March 31st
March is a month with a lot of holidays with religious significance! Your free printable March calendars are dated, but do not include any of the above holidays. You can write in the holidays you personally celebrate on your own monthly calendar. How to print and use monthly calendar templates
This calendar is a Monday start, not a Sunday start. I find this format helpful for planning weekends since both days are side by side. Your free calendar template is in landscape orientation for US letter size paper. It should also print just fine on A4 sized paper as long as you select “scale to fit.” I personally prefer to print calendar and planner pages on 32# HP bright white paper. It’s thick and bright for durable, professional looking results. Want to see it in use? Although the designs should fit within the printer margins of most printers, I recommend selecting “scale to fit” to ensure nothing is cut off. It’s easy to print your PDF files to scale and trim them down for use in a personal planner or travel planner. I’ve already done the math for you. Just use the appropriate percentage from the chart below, print to scale (instead of fit), and cut away the excess with a paper trimmer.
