If your child or student can’t recognize their color words yet, you can circle the crayons with the correct color or color the tip of the crayon image to make a key. This will help your child learn their color words and help with color recognition skills. These New Year’s color by number pages are designed for young children. Most first grade students will not find these challenging enough to be engaging, unless they need additional practice. Our favorite inexpensive markers are Crayola Super Tips. Their fine points can color the smaller areas in these color-by-number worksheets with ease. No products found. I personally prefer to color with Prismacolor pencils. They are creamy and delightful to color with.
