How to play tic tac toe
You can print these game boards on plain paper or card stock. You’ll also need something to write with and dry erase pockets with a dry erase marker, if you want the boards to be reusable. Tic tac toe is a straightforward game, but just in case you don’t know the rules:
The first player begins by making an X in one of the game board squares. The second player makes an O in one of the open squares. Play continues until one player makes three in a row (horizontally, diagonally, or vertically) or all places are taken. The player who gets three in a row wins. If no one gets three in a row, lots of people say “the cat won.”
The winner of the previous game usually gets to go first for the next game. You can play until one person wins three games of tic tac toe, or keep going until no one wants to play or the available time is up.
