Materials needed for a Valentine’s Day paper mailbox craft

My daughter prefers to trace and write the word on her cut and paste worksheets before coloring or cutting out the pieces. It’s easiest for little learners to write on the page while it’s still intact.

Coloring the mailbox pieces is easiest before cutting out the pieces. Next, cut out the pieces. The mailbox has a back piece with a dotted border so it’s easier to paste the colored pieces in place. Glue the pieces together to make a Valentine’s mailbox. A reference image is included. My daughter’s completed craft is shown below along with her cut and paste Valentine craft. Add glitter, colored sand, or other decorations, if desired. That’s it! This is a super easy, no-prep craft that your kids will be enjoying just minutes from now.
