How to use handprint craft printables

It’s easy to make a memorable gift with these printable cards. Here are the materials you’ll need:

Your free printable PDF file White cardstock (for best results) or paper Nontoxic washable paint in different colors Yellow paint, pink paint, and red paint are good colors to have on hand Of course, you may want to have mom’s favorite colors, too! Acrylic paint can be used, but isn’t recommended for young kids since it isn’t as washable A plastic or paper plate and/or a foam brush, to make it easy to easy to coat little hands with paint Art smock, paper towels, and soap and water for cleanup

If your printer cannot print marginless, you may need to print to scale “fit” if you don’t want a little bit cut off. You won’t miss anything critical, mostly just some grass and flowers. If you need more space for your child’s hand print, print at 100% size and let a few of the decorative elements get cropped. First, print the pages you want from the PDF file. There are a total of 10 different designs so you can pick whichever design(s) you want to use with your little learners. PLEASE NOTE Your file will NOT have the handprints. These are sample images for inspiration. The samples are included in the PDF, too, but you will receive blank craft pages. Help your child or students do a “dry run” to see where they want to place their little handprints on the page. Paint the palm of each child’s hand, then help them press firmly down on the page where they want their handprint. Adult supervision is recommended to make sure paint-covered hands get cleaned up right away! Once the page is dry, older kids may want to add their own special message on the back or add some cute thumbprint hearts or other embellishments.
