I always love when people leave comments on my YouTube videos knowing me what they’d like to see more of! I consistently receive requests for even more yoga sequences that target the hips and hamstrings, common problem areas for basically everyone in the western world. Luckily, many of the most popular, accessible asanas target those exact spots! This week’s class is a great way to wake up your hamstrings and core while getting yourself mentally ready for the day. It’s mostly a flow-style class with a couple slightly longer holds. I find that moving with my breath in the mornings helps me focus and calm my “monkey mind,” and I hope it has the same effect for you.

The end of the year tends to be busy and stressful, but taking even a few minutes a day for a yoga practice, meditation, gratitude, or another mindfulness practice can help you stay centered and calm. If you’re having trouble with ideas, please stop by tomorrow for the launch of Taking Time for Thanks or head over to yesterday’s post to discover how to make and use a gratitude jar. If you have any established practices that help you through the end of the year, please feel free to share them below to help inspire others!
